When will my heart mend

So I can dream again

Because I can not go on another day

Living my life this way

Just wanting something there

A hope, a dream, a prayer

To fill this now blank page

And release me from fear’s cage

So that I may see you before I forget

Your beauty, your kiss, and the night we first met

For it is only when I can dream

I know I will see you, standing serene

And in the silence of that moment, I can say

That my dreams keep my love for you everyday
