Myself

Confused, rude, crude, and smooth,

This a few things that describe you.

But it’s you-as in me- because you are me and I am you.

We’re like two Elephants in a circus and two Zebra’s in a zoo.

We go together hand in hand walking along the beach,

As you slowly whisper into my ear “You, I love me!”

The object of this is to get you to see,

If you never realize that you Love yourself, How in the hell can you Love me?

In order to be in Love you must first be felt,

And how can someone else feel you if can’t even feel yourself?

Think about these questions and these confusing little rhymes,

After a while you’ll understand and you will see what I mean in time.

So no matter how it seems or if you think I need help,

Just look in the mirror and whisper in your ear “You, I Love myself!”
