Dream

The everlasting sound of nothing wading through the trees,

Moonlight shining through the clouds barely visible to see.

A chill is in the air and it’s a slight bit moist,

You feel it all but hear nothing not even your voice.

A night so different everything’s so unclear,

It seems that you are the only person there.

What is this place you begin to wonder,

And suddenly in the sky it begins to thunder.

It gets even darker than it was before,

You begin to panic and think even more.

The wind gets stronger and now you can hear,

You think you hear a voice but no one else is near.

In the wind you feel something not sure what it is,

It’s touching you with it’s hands and hitting you with its fist.

You feel the punches but see nothing but trees,

What is it that’s hitting you, what could it be?

Everything’s moving so fast unreal it seems,

Then boom you’re awake, it was all a dream.
