1 Longer's Folly
He said he asked
To see if she would,
He said he did,
Not thinking he could.
And arrogant lie.
She knew he loved her-
He swore it once.
He stole her spirit,
Murdered twice.
2 The Line
He drew a line,
Chose a side.
Swore he'd stay
Until he died.
Dying once,
He crossed today.
Now he'll live
A life decayed.
