Four long years
Ago on this day
Let free the tears
Respects let's pay

Just a child back then
Both of us, we were
You eleven and I ten
There was no cure

Everyone's friend
You were always there
Your love had no end
Nothing could compare

But nothing good
Will ever last
I so wish you could
You were gone too fast

A sickness I knew of
But never thought would
Steal away our love
I never understood...

Why couldn't you just stay
Here... above the ground?
What would you say
If you were still around?

I know you would smile...
That beautiful smile of yours...
And say it was worthwhile...
They're happy now... you'd assure...
