Fire (2024 challenge day 11)

Folder:
2024

run me red ragged

tear out my heart with your clumbering throats

live me large I have not touched the ground again

ever since the wisk of flame hit our mouths

been around the block and the world and I see it all again as this heat runs through me

pretty little tugboat pull me on a string

every sigh and unraveling a promise

racetrack smiles, lightning shimmers

before oh god the thunder hits

and I would swear to you under oath to memory

oath to this letting go

I have not been fire before now
