I have made every mistake

walked every wrong turn

can you sign my punch card

because only you know where I’ve fallen

Because I haven’t yet found a balance

between I wish I had

and I wish I hadn’t.

Because I walk and

pull the steel off the rails

with every step

let it be known

I’ll only shed a tear for you

if you give me a hand

but please don’t say

we love the silence more

than we love here.
