The giant snake swayed across the field
Wiping out every bit of harmony instilled
Living behind it's darkness and destructiveness revealed
The peasant watched on as his land unveiled

All crops and animals having been lost
Body and mind living like the Holy ghost
Sun baked skin steaming like brown toast
Only to be cooled by the wind from the coast.

All day he sat on his rocking chair
His health having gone way past his care
Cuban cigar in his mouth,he wouldn't dare
Death would silently wait for him in his stare

Cat walking across the dusty road
Dog barking at the thirsty lifeless toad
Annoyed by this,he swung his rod
Chasing away every life he thought cold
