WALLS

If only the walls could talk

Oh what tales they could tell

Tales of happiness

Sadness and pain aswell

If they could tell their stories

Think of the papers they could sell

They have seen all your emotions

They hear your sounds aswell

The walls have heard you laughing

They heard you cry aswell

Kept you warm and safe when you feel unwell

Without saying a word they comfort you

Keep you posessions safe aswell

They hold your roof up

When your whole world comes tumbling down

But they never make a sound
