You walked into the night

After a long day

You drove past my house to see if my car was there

When you saw that I was gone

You did not stay long



You stayed up all night

Called me over ten times

Asked me where I was

When I’d be going home

I need to get away from you

I thought inside my mind



You knocked on my door

When you saw that I was home

I had to let you in

Because you knew I was alone



You crawled under my sheets

And wrapped yourself around me

I’m sorry I repeat

I can not be with you

Please leave



So you finally decided to go

But returned the very next night

I put my car in the garage

I turned off all the lights

Still you knew that I was there

I told you I couldn’t see you again

Still you didn’t care



You walked into my house

Said you wanted to talk

We stayed there for a while

We took a little walk

When we came home, I fell asleep

So you took me to my room

You laid right next to me

You held my hand throughout the night

We slept through the next day



You told me that you loved me

Then tears fell from my eyes

“I don’t want to hurt you I don’t want to cause you pain

I’m sorry its just ; I’ve never been in love

I do not feel the same”



Why do you want to be with me?

Why do you even care

I try to look away from you

but  you remain to stare



You wipe away my tears

And tell me its ok

You tell me you understand

And that you’ll go on your way

You said don’t worry I wont bother you anymore

I never saw you again,

Since you last walked out that door.
