Standing still in a world where time never lasts

In the blink of an eye the future becomes the past

The wind is rushing around me, caressing me soft skin

No Goosebumps, because thoughts of you are burning from within

Remembering your eyes, so calm and steady

Your hands so tender and ready

Your sweet lips and how they passionately touched mine

Your gentle breath on my neck

When you were standing from behind

Heat waves when your body pressed up against mine

I hiccup; you make me just so nervous

You know it so there is no reason to lie

I close my eyes to see your gentle face

It’s the want for you that I cannot escape

In the dim light of the moon

I am standing still without you

Only because those thoughts of you and me

Were never real and never will be
