Fire

She couldn't escape, No, it was like a cape,
Suffocating and Burning,
It was finally the end, She had to face the truth,
The smoke filled her lungs with the acid rungs,
Each breath she took fed her closer to her death,
"Why!" She screamed, "Why me!?" It wasn't fair.
No. Nothing was fair.
The fire closed around her as the flames turned to ice,
Suffocatign and freezing.
She couldn't escape, No, it was like a cape.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this last night when I couldn't sleep. My sister wrote a poem about Hell and it sparked my imagination.
