Is there a future's truth

For a pair of hopeless youth

Unopened doors that I've never explored

Could there really be a reward?

I have false faith 

And stupid belief

But I know you'll disappear without a trace

Do you know not of your great worth?

For she has seen it since birth

I cannot compare

No I wouldn't dare

They will always stare

It will always be unfair

Why do you want someone far below

Who cannot go wherever you go?

You deserve more

But selfishly I won't open that door

As I lay here crying on the floor

I know the truth 

Of hopeless youth 

It barely bends 

And always breaks

This is the feeling I cannot shake 

Put me out

For heaven's sake
