And in the moonlight i saw her there

summer eve's breeze blew through her hair

should i approach her, do i dare?

her beauty radiates through the air

in that moment she was gone

but in my head i heard her song

images of her came so strong

left me dazed as i walked along

further on my journey, i saw her again

she smiles and said, come to me friend

her smile was warm, her eyes were true

she told me "i've been sent here for you"

but before i could ask, she fled

thousands of thoughts flooded my head

am i dreaming? am i dead?

over and over i heard what she said

so i continued on, my mind a mess

head full of stress , i needed to rest

I took a seat to catch my breath

then she returned as quick as she left

with looks of an angel, she moved like a ghost

i remained seated as she moved close

putting her hand on my shoulder she smiled

"just as i remember, though it's been a while"

a while? i thought, and as i turned to ask

she put her finger on my mouth and laughed

you do not know me, but i know you

since your birth i've watched all that you do
