After such a long time

I never thought that I will stop counting the dead

I never thought that I will stop planning for an other battle

But today,

I will only prepare to fight in a way that I will not loose a body



As the sun sets

I will not worry of where to sleep

But I will only think of what to do today at sunrise

Sing a song of joy or love

Talk of the heroes and heroines

But I will tell my people to be positive



Tears or no tears

Somebody has to be thankful to God

For mothers will not worry about their husbands disappearing

Young women will not worry about their loved ones never coming home

And people will start to sing songs of love again



If peace is from the heart

Then our heart beats will echo it

If it is from the mind

Then let us pray that it will go back to the heart

Peace! Peace!

At least I will die in Peace
