so sudden and swift
the change came
that I couldn't even
talk, tears with a strangle
hold on my chords
my love you horde
still on to this day,
as much as I hide it
it reappears and comes
out - not in casual glances
but late at night when
I stare at a 4x6 where
a smile no longer loves
but seems to mock
