i walk among the thieves
but i don't seem to care at all
the voices start to scream
as i proceed to the opening of my heart
to anything at all
i'll take it all
whatever it takes to fill this hole
but i know it's not the way to go
nonetheless i wash unconsciousness
upon my body so i'll bleed no more
these reminders of sores
but the sound of whispering flows
like an open window
where the light screams upon my skin
but i won't let it in
no i'll stay trapted inside
with closed eyes
