1:00 am hugged me
as loving arms should
away I fell into the same time frame
the same emotions
the same feeling I couldn’t shake
but I don’t lie awake
because 1:00am hugged me
and I fell asleep
away in my dreams
that I never remember
since last November
but I know 7:00am
will be there again
to welcome me, haunting me
to a new day
until 1:00 am steals it away
just like a dream
but I am awake
