Today, Someone Should Pause To Remember One Of History's Greatest Shames

July 17th, 1918:  the brutal murder of the Romanov family by Bolshevik thugs, on the order of Vladimir Lenin to satisfy his personal vendetta.  The Czar and Czarina; their four adolescent daughters; and their son, who had just barely entered pubescence; along with several servants who had elected to join them in their imprisonment in the sinisterly named "House of Special Purpose."  Even Tsarevitch Alexei's dog was killed by those sons of bitches.

The murder is said to have shaken up some of the higher ranking members of the Bolshevik Party who were unable to thwart Lenin's tireless desire for vengeance.

This was only the beginning of the Bolshevik's reign of terror, and of horrific persecution of the Orthodox Faith, including the murders, by thousands, of martyrs; and the desecration of Cathedrals (one of which became a Museum of Atheism, and another was converted into Municipal public toilet facility).

Hell will not be eternal enough in length for Lenin and his cronies to fully expiate their sins.

On the site of the Romanov murders, an Orthodox Church now keeps vigil.

Vladimir Putin violates the Orthodox Faith, to which he pays merely lip service, by murdering fellow Orthodox Christiams in the Ukraine.  Russia's murderous inclinations will not be halted until that country, and, indeed, the whole world, has made sufficient penance for the murder of the Romanovs, and other Orthodox murders, and the desecration of the Church's holy sites.
