@ 27.055 MHz: Ad Astra; At The XLIX, With J-Lore (Fridays, Saturdays, July 10th-September 4th, 1976)

[to J-Lore]

Sometimes the conversations on our

c.b., often tuned to twenty-two or twelve,

were more interesting than the film's dialogue, so

we sometimes turned the external speaker down.

But our own silences

(with all of society's silly inhibitions gone)

also punctuated the evening:

these incipient from the unshod

fragrance and flavor of your midnight blue socks

(not entirely concealed beneath the tattered

cuffs of your baggy bell-bottoms), and,

beneath the unbuttoned panels of your

shirt, the warmth and scent of your torso, and the

accelerating beat of your heart, in my ear,

responsive---so exquisitely responsive---to my kisses.
