On Homonyms [Repost and Revision]

Fowl is a noun applied to species of birds.

Foul is an adjective applied to flatulence, or unflushed turds.

The failure to distinguish between them adequately

calls into question your literary competency.

Your glaring, and, at times, chaotic errors belittle

your words:  sentient speech reduced to demented drool and spittle.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Reminder, as, say, to a freshman student of Poetry---suggested by an upperclassman---to be careful of details in a writing project.  Fortunately, I was given very sound advice about this during my freshman undergraduate year, and that taught me to be careful of spelling (including catching typos when possible).
