+ 27.225 MHz: Prayer For---And Requesting Prayer For---An Injured Infant
Lord, I pray for this infant's awful injury
caused by a stray softball (and accidentally)---
I ask you to remove pain she is feeling,
and give her a great miracle of healing.
I ask all those who read these verses, too---
even if they dislike or criticize
other examples of my poetry---
to offer prayers for her, prayers that shall rise
to Your throne where we seek, most faithfully,
for help in time of our need. This we do,
encouraged by Scriptures' authority.
