To the stars, Christ has given a long life's expectation;

but upon us, He has bestowed the privileged vocation

to praise Him, across the worlds, for the joy of Salvation.

My sacrifice of praise has been too often stalling:

Christ has forgiven me, and has brought me back to that July calling.
