Knowledge slips out between the cracks
of a mind that never cared anyway
whisper in the ear a million truths
watch them fade away
see the world we touch with open hands
but never truly feel what we leave behind
watch our feet brush the land
too lost in our own mind
we are all part of this creation
the sun never shines the same
no one makes the connection
this is a world that we could tame
knowledge only slips away
from minds that don't care
the world has so much to say
but we are unaware
