I sat alone
in a room
without doors or windows
no happy thoughts are let in
and only sadness follows
a place of emptiness all around
happiness hides in the shadows
the dark laying heavily
only devours and swollows
But then you came in
broke down the walls
freeing memories sorrows
showing me a new way
and revealing a brighter tomarrow
