Why do they let addictions get so big
When thats all they want to do
Why dont they wake up and realize
That they're hurting you?
What answers are they looking for?
or just trying to be cool?
eventually they get off track
and sometimes quit school
What can you tell them?
What can you say?
Do you tell them you love them?
and watch them push you away?
Why dont they know
until its too late?
That they cant go back
and this is their fate?

most important of all
when its you or the one you love
who is destined to take the fall
