Wages and wars of love

Folder:
PHILOSOPHICAL SS

Written as a bitter tragedy till the end
My life, our love, the sacrifices we made and will
They all crumble when we meet face to face.

The truth so disturbingly painful is to love what you hold
And and desire what you should hold with an intensity
Of such aching truth that all can see it yet choose not to

The switches were made with karmic choices laid now paid
And paying, the wheels of love and desire keep turning
Ever in circles like a clockwork orange owl who inside
A mechanism which links all pieces separates them just the same
The operations of which born from a ingenious conspiracy
Against love with which half is stolen and the other half given
and never whole with either part the schemes of right and wrong
Rage their wars and the innocent victims of love fall one by one
And when it is your turn no matter what you believe your time will come
And you will fall in the empty arms of the rest of us, surviving
On half but oh so worth the fall may you hear your call when drafted
And each time, Learn to love the fall.
