My heart is open,
honest and clear
why do you insist its not my dear?

all my secrets are there for you to view
I charge nothing for this invitation.
the world will find a way to make wrong

the one who do so are writing a desperate song
trying to get the wheels burning at a turn in thier direction
your slight of hand is good but I know of your deception

you find comfort in your misdirection
aim the arrows at me hit me with your best shot
I am the only target that you've got.

Knowing Im full of grace and understanding
you do your misdeeds thinking you got me over a stack
but it is me who laughs in the face of your attack

I have but to do nothing, thats right. nothing. you will see
that nothing has or could harm me. I chase the devil from this house
I chase the ill with the good, if only, dear friend in fire you could.

You could see that despite this back stabbed with constant arrows
I am still here for you. a glutton for punishment I will only take more
but rest assured the world will know the truth when it is given.

I will rise high and as always be forgiven. I am the one thing
you will never expect though if you bite me in the wrong place
be prepared I WILL stab back.
