Christmas

Its nearly time the trifles set
its time to be joyous
Only hours to go
The children full of excitement
Of what the old man nick will bring,
The kitchen is busy and everything flutters
Like insects disturbed in action
The waftingls of vanilla ice cake dusted
With icing smells so great,
The food preparation lined up in
Wait so the Christmas feast can begin
This the time I feel so glad and thankful
For all the blessings I've had
The laughter and bustle too hard to ignore
I jump in whole heartedly no tied down
Any more,
I give the lounge one last look to make sure the
Presents all round are put in the car
Off we go to enjoy the lights in our merry way
Delivering our presents bringing smiles to their faces
Holding close a secret wish I smile knowing all is good
And scream out of the car wind blowing in my face
