Uncertainty how odd that it is the one constant

In a world full of chaos and change the one thing you can count on

Is that you never know what to expect

People respond in their own ways, this is a given

However you think you’ve figured it out and then they change

Back to being uncertain

How do we expect to live in this world and ever be sure?

Life is all one big game of chance

So then how do we expect that the one person you can count on?

Will remain in that role

We can’t its not possible; they are there when you need them

If you are a good person you are there when they need you

How do we deal with changing, How do we grow together

We don’t it’s all uncertain

You think you know someone, you don’t……

Unless you have spent every split second with them

Things can change, it’s impossible to ever know

The only thing that is certain is that we will remain unsure

I am certain that I am capable of loving

What I’m uncertain about is does it last forever

Do I go with my heart, or what my head is telling me?

I’m certain that as we’ve grown we’ve grown apart

How come you can not see this with any certainty?

How do I make you see?

Our lives changed in a split second

I’m no longer who I was, what happened to you

How can you be certain that all you want is me?

Take a chance, try something new

Nothing is ever certain, but it has to be seen

That at this moment the one thing you can’t have

Is me of this I’m certain.
