Located on the east coast of Singapore and housing Malay people Geylang has a significant number of attractions too. The people of Geylang are considered to be the original inhabitants of the beautiful city of Singapore. However, it is the malay people here who have strived to keep the culture of Singapore alive. Spread across 3.72 square miles Geylang is originally a planning area and township. On the North of Geylang is Hougang. To its South is marine parade. Bedok is to the east. Kallang to the West. Geylang is well connected by all means of transport in Singapore however, travelling by bus is more convenient and time saving keeping in mind the notorius traffic problem of Singapore.
