Who's listening to me
As I ramble on
Realizing that
Somewhere along the way
I took a wrong turn
I took a wrong step
And found myself
Hanging off the edge
Of her eternity.
Dear No One,
She told me she liked me
She told me she cared
She didn't tell me she loved me
I guess she's a little scared
But while I sit here and think
I realize one thing
I'm happier she didn't
Say those fucked up words
Because then I know
She isn't lying to me.
Dear No One,
She's going to break my heart someday
Better sooner than later
Might as well free her of the chains
That come with me
Let loose her wings
And let her fly
To a man she likes
A man she cares for
A man she loves
A man, not me.
