I got up this morning and opened my eyes

I looked to the skies

And said “I missed you”



I turned over and looked out the window

Then I looked in the mirror

And said “I need you”



I got up and prepared for the long day ahead

I got in the shower

And said “I want you”



I got in my car and drove down the street

I turned on my lights

And said “Where are you”



During my day I sat to myself

And could think of nothing else but you



When I arrived back home in the same lonely spot

I rested my head

And said “I love you”
