The world of Mixkoa

The world of Mixkoa

Long, long time ago there was only darkness, but something was growing there, something very tiny, it was a small flash, but it soon became bigger and bigger, until all the universe was covered in light, and there he laid. His name was Mixkoa. Mixkoa, lived there for a long time, but he was very lonely, tired of this, he created a small fireball to give him warmth and company, his name was K’iin. Both begin to grow fast and strong, but they wanted something more, something to give them meaning, so Mixkoa and K’iin, agreed to create Tlal. But Tlal was too far away from them, so they created Painal, but he was very far away too, and until the 7th failed attempt, they still didn’t accomplish what they wanted, they wanted someone special, someone to live for, to give their life’s a meaning and a purpose, so they decided they were going to create something, not like the other ones, this one will be very special, it will take a lot of time, love and care, but it will be worthy.

They created Kaab. Kaab was strong beautiful, full of life, he had rivers, and oceans flowing through his veins, but he also had lovely green spots of lands. Mixkoa and K’iin had Kaab, but now they didn’t know what to do with him. Mixkoa and K’iin were desperate; they needed to feel they had something to make them meaningful, still they haven’t found their purpose in life. Years, and years passed by, and so the question remained, until one day Kaab felt something, he felt something was moving inside him. So he talked to Mixkoa and K’iin, and told them what he felt, so they looked closely and saw a tiny animal, a mixture of a crocodile and a fish, and they named him Tiktaalik. They were so happy, and they realized they now had a big purpose, they needed to take care of him, so Mixkoa and K’iin came together to discuss what they had to do. So they created Kuu, to give Tiktaalik darkness so he could sleep and rest. Years passed by, and now Tiktaalik was no longer alone, more animals were growing inside Kaab, there were animals that could fly, others who could swim, others who could run in forests, desserts or jungles.

Mixkoa, was so happy of all of he had created, K’iin gave warmth to Kaab, Kuu gave darkness for the animals to rest, and Kaab gave them shelter, now they all had a purpose in life, they were meaningful.
