I didn't know I was suppose to know you,

Do forgive me for waiting so long,

But I was told we are family,

We danced to the beat of a similar song.



Do forgive me for not missing your company,

For someone to have I often longed,

If I known I longed for you,

I wouldn't have waited quite so long.



Do remember forgotten cousin for you spirit feels me here,

I didn't know I was suppose to miss you,

The way you might miss me,

But after all it's hard to miss something you never see.
