Go ahead, pull my loose thread

watch me unravel at my seams

Just sit back, relax

watch what's left of my sanity

spill out of me

every piece of me, my everything

and death, he shows his face

Enticing me with his cold embrace

to take his hands, to let them pull me

farther towards my own demise

Where a mountain of despare awaits

Descending upon me

the weight of my whole world

is crashing around me

I think I shall refrain myself

from having any hope

Least I dare to dream

I shall force myself into contentment 

at a life of mediocrity 

Darkness prevails

wagging it's eager, wanton tail

to swallow me whole
