Just a few miles from here

But I can't see you

Can't connect with you

I worry when I'm not around

I wonder

What you tend to dream about

But I can't ask you

Can't converse with you

and I just wish you were listening

No one's to blame

But a chance all the same

You may be screaming my name

And I can't comprehend it

Beauty like yours is so bright to all kinds

Attractions are made without restriction in mind

So I worry

and I never mean to offend

The love we share is what I defend

For the feelings of my Lady Friend

The adoration from you is what I'm desperate for

More than once I've laid awake

I daydream a little and think of you
