Just another glowing day

with you here at my side.

Another sparkling moment

to remember the rest of our lives.

Time passes so quickly

and I can't imagine life without you.

It is only you make my breath quicken,

my heart race, my body tremble.

My only fear 

is that I might lose you somehow.

I look down the road

and I see a future bright with hope.

Every minute spent with you

is a treasure I never thought to hold.

Love has always been

such a frightening word.

But standing here beside you

I am not afraid.

Lonely before and full of doubts

I now feel whole and happy.

Keeping my thoughts locked up tight

I am afraid I will chase you away

if only I had the courage to tell you

how it is I truly feel.

Every time I glance your way,

and catch you looking at me,

I can't help but wonder

what is going through your mind.

Could it be true you love me

as much as I love you?

Never sure completely, 

is is that uncertainty

that makes it so exciting.

I dream we will wed someday,

and I will know it is only I

you want to spend your life with.

Everyday paints a picture

of a future so bright.

I can't imagine loving anyone else.

Reality is so beautiful, 

I no longer hide in dreams.
