The moon shines down,

filling my soul with light.

Flames surround me,

caressing my body,

like a lovers touch.

I've found him!

My dragon, my protector, my love.

But how do I tell him

who it is I am?

Memories of a past life

flicker in the shadows

at the back of my mind.

I see him, I know him.

My heart broken by his betrayal

but every piece cries out for him.

The inferno inside him consumes me,

but I am not afraid.

Forces outside try to keep us apart,

but I will succeed,

or die in the attempt.

My power has grown,

my love is stronger,

and nothing can keep me

from what is rightfully mine.
