Just us laying close stays close to my eyes,

it stays in my mind and produces my sighs,

all my tries have all proven wrong,

when did my life become a sad love song?

why can't i find the track to take me back,

to the day when happiness was more a fact,

it wouldn't be a text without you sending,

there is only one finish, only one happy ending,

i don't deserve more, sure i've kept cool when

i stayed at home while she went to Aspen,

a has been trying hard to stay up there,

how can we be friends when i find it hard to care,

less then i truly want to, it's enough to,

close my eyes, see you and whisper i love you,

which i don't say much, i need tending,
