Wanna start an engine? light up the dark?

light a blunt? start up the spark,

actions seem wise one second, regretful the next,

relive it all through one random text,

a four leaf clover couldn't keep me sober,

but you could, and it still isn't over,

at least for me, tell me how,

i only want to ask you "what about now?"

time is time, we make it right,

so why waste a smile on a frowning tonight,

if you ever need a shoulder i'll always be

right by your side, whatever you need,

don't need your love, don't need to see,

all i truly need is you to believe,

i feel just like an author and you're the writers block,

i just can't seem to get over you, one more knock.
