A whole year spent trying to do things right,

a whole year spent living a lonely life,

i was trying to lengthen my sight,

but got backtacked by a cyph,

i belong with me, none other,

only by force with my father and brother,

a small family of 3 who all think,

of drowning their sorrows, memories void in the sink,

i don't think you're right for me when

i am the only one who thinks of how it could've been,

was it all some farfetched dream?

or was it really as it seemed?

tell me now, God, what's my path?

i hate to do it but i gotta ask,

too close to see the whole puzzle,

only go from one rejection to two struggles.
