Stared at this picture so long it has life,

movement in smiles, deja vu when i cyph,

i'm gonna take the strife and make sure i strive,

climb up the New Years ball tower and dive,

if it's any other guy, still won't phase me,

i'll leave myself on an Mp3 and say please play me,

until you again heyyy me daily i'll be sad,

always remembering the girl i once had,

much like my dad i wish to be alone,

in my zone with a pen and paper at my home,

deep in my bones, you are the one keeping me strong,

even if we haven't been a chance for so long,

the same old song, the same old tune,

the same sad New Years to the same old June,

you're like a morning toon for a kid when he wakes,

there is only cartoons, no stress or past mistakes.
