I try and count the ways i let you down,

even when at all times my face was an upside down frown,

cause of you i was getting better at a faster rate,

much too fast to last this late,

thankfully it was great while it lasted,

you motion pictured and i was casted,

the scene in the bar, on my bed set,

in the city at Fridays, none will i forget,

the two parties i ran home, i'll settle the score,

you looked way too beautiful, and i couldn't take anymore,

cause from when i first met you til this day, it's true,

i have always felt and feel the same about you,

so i count the ways you let me down, grinning,

this can't be, it's been since the beginning,

maybe then baby what i said wasn't fully true,

your not good enough for me just as much as i'm not for you.
