Could be that finally i am in the zone,
wish i knew if i were ever in your dome,
buy you lucies and take you back to my home,
and make sure that it was just us alone,

at some point i took a wrong turn,
and now from that mistake i'll surely learn,
that all writing on paper does is add more to burn,
add more to wishing and add more to yearn,

maybe once i couldn't feel the end mid chapter,
baby say that word once more after,
i tickle you just to hold onto your laughter,
when really i hold onto what i've always been after,

words never add up to the spark of our actions,
cut me in half i'd love you twice in fractions,
if only i was your man to brag about to your factions,
i wouldn't see those beautiful eyes as distractions.
