You tried to push me twice that just makes me want you more,
dreaming i'm miles away at your front door,
cause honestly we have something that we should secure,
for instance this distance is just a small detour,

i won't play this game for much longer, i can see,
that your feelings for me aint what you say em to be,
hard to wait behind the rope when i've been VIP,
dropped me before i touched the ball, c'mon referee,

how come the only way to see how high you get me,
is to rewrite my future not caring about my history,
it's easy to see that you are miles from being my destiny,
as long as i'm not calling you an ex to me,

this is nothing new to you anyway i simply take up time,
wish earlier i saw that you'd never really be mine,
only chose you over my past flame dime,
and i'm wishing you would just be open most of the time.
