I Don't Win

Folder:
January 2011

Won't judge by what she wears,
as long as she won't judge me from what she hears,
where is anyone who cares or shares the pain when i fall up the stairs,
used to think life was solitary and not fair now i know i have to keep moving because it's like musical chairs.

How can i think of myself a has been,
when i never truly have been,
does a greater me lie within or is it waiting for my next of kin,
music stops, my minds spinning, fall to the floor and yet again...
I don't win.

Night in the city with my high roller cares,
fright takes the shape of bi-polar bears,
walk around my room tryin to fight scares,
afraid to close my eyes to sleep because of the night mares.

Hard to remember where to begin after sin,
when all you want is to die in an inn,
consume gin and tonic to go for a spin,
sad to think but yet again...
I don't win.
