Power of a Smile

Folder:
September 2010

From my lips to your ears, from your ears to the moving of your lips,
as you smile at my words, all the while still taking those sips,
purse those pink puppies on your straw, entice with your nightly kiss,
bag me up and take me home, constantly feeling everlasting bliss,
a spoonful of those smiles, is more than enough to keep the doctor away,
the lip contact gets me more high, enough to keep the spliff away,
bombard my Normandy and napalm my city,
that smile can get you out of any crime, so gritty and witty,
embrace this broken man, as you embrace me with your lips,
no need to be a hypocrite, I have consumed much more than sips,
no need to be so clean, I have taken more than a few hits,
no need to play so nice, I've been sacked enough because of your blitz,
as long as we feel true for one another, acting can shush while words speak up,
"someone needs a refill, must be a hole in this cup,"
continue to down the golden dizziness, as your smile keeps me sober and sane,
poof it all disappeared, must have been your magic act as shocking as David Blaine,
well as long as that smile remains of the memory,
i will be fine as being your pawn, just smile and i will never disagree.
