Why Aren't We Together?

Wherever there are places to see

Have also many tourists, including me

You may want to judge but don't even try.

After all is seen, it will be left behind

Relief is gained, yet it's so unkind.

Everyone is just after one goal,

Never needing to pay any toll.

Things in life are very misleading.

What more does anyone really require

Everyone needs answers, an entire empire.

Till we can learn more,

Obviously, what we hadn't known before.

Gathering observations, for all we know

Even that might be the first learning to go.

Till we branch out on all our learning,

Have all our knowledge convert to a yearning.

Even though you need to stay, alone

Remind me why it must stay this way?
