i think i see it now

what everyone already knew

and i just can't believe

i never noticed it before

all the pieces connect

and i see you for you

i think you should know

i don't need you anymore

i think i should tell you

i'm over it

i cried my tears

and i dried my eyes

now i'm ready to move on

and willing to forget

your empty promises

masked as whispers, all lies

everything was perfect

but nothing was true

you could have fooled me

with a red rose or a love letter

but there's no reason to be down

and no reason to be blue

i see it all clearly now

and i know i can do better
